Dr. Michael Blair is a board-certified, award-winning physician and eye surgeon atParagon Eye Associates (previously known as Ford Eye Center) in Arlington, Texas. His unique and extensive training and skills have enabled him to provide the highest quality eye surgery and patient care. In 2006, Dr. Blair graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. In the same year, he was accepted into one of the top eye surgery programs in the nation, Wilford Hall Medical Center. While in the program, he excelled and received several prestigious awards for his surgical abilities and research. In 2009, he was named chief resident, and in 2010, he graduated with the highest honors.

After his residency, Dr. Blair continued his services in the 99th Surgical Operations Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas and was entrusted with the vision of our country’s finest pilots and Warfighters. As a Major, Dr. Blair was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service for skillfully performing over 2,532 major and minor intraocular surgeries resulting in a 100% success rate and return of function vision for all patients. During this period, his leadership, expertise, and tireless efforts were instrumental to the success of Air Combat Command’s most productive ophthalmology clinic, supporting over 72,000 active duty members and retirees.
